Description

Nice performance for the TS 72/432 APO, particularly in the central region, the one where the open cluster is.Moving towards the borders the are some distorsions in the star shapes, but that is most probably due to the Starizona flattener, which was designed to be paired with the Evoguide ED50 and not with this type of scopes.
Also the Starizona flattener is physically small, hence it may struggle to correctly flatten the APS-C format up to the border.
I had also to deal with a less than satisfying performance of flat calibration, so there are a couple of areas in the picture I had to "picture out".
Apparently the only way to have a good calibration with a DSLR without filters is to keep its sensor well clean.
